Karen Stephenson spoke last March at NESTA on the topic: "What is trust and why is it important for innovation?" It is an interesting topic and her remarks were thoughtful. She also spoke at a second session on: "Forms of trust and the power of social networks." They are both worth checking out (NESTA).
More recently (last Friday) NESTA held a conference on open innovation and intellectual property. The videos are available here. There are a number of other great videos featuring excellent scholars like Eric Von Hippel and Howard Rheingold. It is a good reference so check it out.
